Evenlode Catchment Partnership

Dear All,

I am emailing you on behalf of the Evenlode Catchment Partnership to alert you about our brand new film “Beneath the surface”. We are excited to share this with you as the film shows how we are fighting to restore the river Evenlode and catchment area despite the constant battles with sewage pollution and flooding. This went live in December and is already at over 1000 views on Youtube!

I am sending your Parish Council an email invite because your Parish lies within or right next to the river Evenlode’s Catchment. This means that our work could benefit your area and likewise, it gives an opportunity for you or your Councillors to find out more about your local river environment and how the Parish could get involved with our river restoration work. We are keen to involve all the Parishes within the river catchment and can potentially help with your climate and environmental commitments. Equally, if you would like us to run an event to either show the film officially or for us to hold a river related workshop in your village/town please let me know and we’d be more than happy to organise something with you.

Here’s the link to the whole film:
